Our weight loss coaches are supervised by Dr. Komadina who is recognized around the world as an expert in weight management and healthy nutrition through supplementation and food choices.

The Thyroid Disease Epidemic
Estimates are that American adults, over the age of 40, have 80% dysfunction of their thyroid glands. The cause is not known, but diet and chemical environmental exposure is suspected, not to mention the genetics of Hashimoto’s Disease. Every weight loss evaluation must include a thorough evaluation of your thyroid. A simple thyroid screen often will miss a poorly functioning gland. The most common symptoms of low thyroid include weight gain and inability to lose weight, dry brittle hair and nails with hair loss, fatigue and cold hands and feet.
Only if the thyroid function is optimized for you, will you have success losing and keeping your weight off. We are not endocrinologists, but each of our practitioners have received extensive training in the evaluation and treating of your thyroid function. It is part of the training we receive to help you get your body into hormonal balance.
